Mahindra Group has officially named its upcoming 7-seater electric SUV as the XEV 9S. Built on the advanced INGLO platform, the XEV 9S promises spacious interiors, long-range capability, and premium features. The vehicle will debut globally on November 27, 2025, at Mahindra’s ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru.

Mahindra & Mahindra is accelerating its electric mobility ambitions with the announcement of its new flagship 7-seater electric SUV—the XEV 9S. Set to premiere on November 27, 2025, during the company’s ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru, the XEV 9S marks a significant milestone in Mahindra’s transition to a fully electric future.

Positioned above the XUV700, the XEV 9S is built on Mahindra’s purpose-designed INGLO skateboard platform. This architecture allows for flexible seating configurations, a flat floor for enhanced cabin space, and a low center of gravity for improved ride stability. The SUV is expected to offer battery options similar to the XEV 9e, including 59 kWh and 80 kWh packs, delivering a range of up to 500 km.

With a design language inspired by Mahindra’s BE and XUV electric series, the XEV 9S will feature a continuous LED light bar, a triple-screen dashboard setup, and a premium interior layout tailored for family comfort and long-distance travel.
