In a major boost to the infrastructure of Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had a meeting with Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi, obtaining approvals for a range of path-breaking road and urban development projects. Key decisions include reimbursements of outstanding annual dues under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), clearance of the ₹6,164 crore flyover road project over the Bindal and Rispana rivers (NH-07), and central sponsorship for the ₹183 crore realignment of NH-109 near Pantnagar Airport based on state SGST waivers.

Other clearances are the Khatima Ring Road, upgradation of NH-507 and NH-534, and bringing forward the Rishikesh Bypass, with the forest land transfers to be implemented within three months. The tender process for the Kedarnath Ropeway will also be undertaken after taking additional consultations. These projects aim to decongest traffic, boost religious tourism, and provide a fillip to economic activity in Uttarakhand.
