In a major expansion for Mumbai’s commercial real estate sector, Marathon Nextgen Realty Limited (MNRL) announced Monte South Commercial — a 1.2 million sq. ft. mixed-use project in Byculla, developed in joint venture with Adani Realty. Valued at a Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹3,400 crore, the project marks one of the largest commercial developments in South Mumbai.
Monte South Commercial forms part of the prestigious Monte South campus, already home to soaring residential towers that have reshaped Byculla’s skyline. The residential component includes four towers, with Tower A already receiving its Occupation Certificate, Tower B structurally complete, and Tower C rapidly progressing. Tower D is slated for future launch.
