Assam has drawn investments of almost ₹2 lakh crore at the current Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, declared Minister Ranjit Kumar Dass today. The two-day summit has witnessed top commitments from industry leaders such as Reliance, Adani, and Tata Groups, each committing ₹50,000 crore. The investments cut across 15 sectors, including semiconductors, electronics, healthcare, renewable energy, and tourism. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma celebrated this as the biggest investment Assam has ever seen in 76 years. The summit also recorded the signing of 164 MoUs, a major landmark in the economic development curve of the state.
