Hindustan Zinc Ltd has received a Letter of Intent from the Ministry of Mines, confirming its selection as the preferred bidder for the Jhandawali–Satipura Amalgamated Potash and Halite Block in Rajasthan. The license grants both prospecting and mining rights under Rule 18(1) of the Mineral Auction Rules, 2015.
