Mitchell Starc Withdraws from Champions Trophy; Steve Smith to Lead Australia

Australia's Champions Trophy campaign has taken a hit as Mitchell Starc withdraws for personal reasons, joining Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood on the sidelines. The depleted squad will now be led by Steve Smith, who recently captained Australia to a 2-0 Test series win over Sri Lanka. With a restructured bowling lineup featuring Spencer Johnson and Nathan Ellis, Australia aims to reclaim the title they last won in 2009. The tournament begins on February 19 in Pakistan and Dubai.
