Modi Government Unveils White Paper on Indian Economy: A Decade of Transformation

The Narendra Modi-led government has published a detailed White Paper on the Indian Economy, charting the nation's economic path over the last decade. The report, laid by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha on March 6, 2025, contrasts the economic performance during the UPA and NDA regimes.

 

White Paper highlights the accomplishments of the NDA government to mitigate economic shocks bequeathed in 2014, like inflation, weakened banking system, and policy uncertainly. The document highlights chief accomplishments like greater macroeconomic stability, structural adjustments, and increased policy implementation.
