In a major stride toward scaling its footprint in India’s animal healthcare and feed industry, Ajooni Biotech Ltd, a leading provider of vegetarian animal nutrition solutions, has announced two significant developments: the commissioning of a new production facility by November 2025, and the receipt of a ₹250 million order from a top-tier dairy supplier. These twin milestones underscore the company’s aggressive growth strategy and its pivotal role in supporting India’s dairy ecosystem.

The new production unit, located in Punjab’s industrial corridor, is expected to dramatically enhance Ajooni’s manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency. Designed with cutting-edge automation and sustainability features, the facility will focus on producing high-quality cattle feed, feed supplements, and moringa-based nutritional products—a segment Ajooni expects to generate ₹200 crore in annual revenue by FY2025–26.

“This facility is a cornerstone of our long-term vision to become India’s most trusted name in animal nutrition,” said Jasjot Singh, Managing Director of Ajooni Biotech. “We’re investing in innovation, scale, and speed to meet the evolving needs of dairy farmers and livestock producers across the country.”

New Facility: Built for Scale and Sustainability
The upcoming plant will be equipped with PLC-controlled production systems, ERP-integrated logistics, and ISO 9001:2015-certified processes, ensuring precision and consistency in output. Ajooni’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in its use of energy-efficient machinery, waste-reduction protocols, and locally sourced raw materials.

The facility will also house a dedicated R&D wing, collaborating with agricultural universities and independent scientists to develop cost-effective, research-backed feed formulations. This aligns with Ajooni’s broader mission to improve livestock productivity while minimizing environmental impact.

With the new plant operational, Ajooni expects to double its production capacity, reduce lead times, and expand its distribution network beyond its current reach of 300+ touchpoints.

₹250 Million Order: A Vote of Confidence from the Dairy Industry
In parallel, Ajooni Biotech has secured a ₹250 million order from one of India’s top dairy suppliers, marking one of the largest single contracts in the company’s history. The order includes a mix of cattle feed, feed chips, and nutritional supplements, tailored to enhance milk yield and animal health.

The client, whose name remains undisclosed due to contractual confidentiality, is among Asia’s largest dairy processors, with operations spanning multiple states and over 10 million livestock units. Ajooni has committed to fulfilling the order within three months, leveraging its existing facilities and preparing to onboard the new plant’s capacity by Q4 FY26.

“This order validates our product quality, service reliability, and deep understanding of livestock nutrition,” Singh added. “We’re proud to be a strategic partner in India’s dairy transformation.”

Moringa: The Next Frontier
Ajooni’s expansion is also fueled by its bet on moringa-based feed supplements, which are rich in protein, antioxidants, and essential minerals. The company anticipates ₹200 crore in incremental revenue from commercial moringa production by FY2025–26. These products are expected to play a key role in improving animal immunity, digestion, and milk quality, especially in high-yield breeds.

Financial Outlook and Market Strategy
Ajooni Biotech’s financial performance has shown strong momentum. In FY24, the company reported a 93.75% jump in net profit, reaching ₹2.17 crore. It is currently pursuing a ₹43.81 crore rights issue, offering shares at a 20% discount to fund expansion and working capital needs.

The company’s strategic partnership with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) is also expected to generate ₹4 crore in monthly revenue, further solidifying its position in the dairy supply chain.

Export Ambitions
While Ajooni’s core market remains India, the company has already established export channels in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, and is actively exploring opportunities in Africa and Southeast Asia. The new facility will be export-ready, with compliance to international feed safety standards.

Innovation Meets Impact
Ajooni Biotech’s journey reflects a broader shift in India’s agritech landscape—where innovation, scale, and sustainability converge to empower farmers and feed a growing population. With its new facility and landmark order, Ajooni is not just expanding its business—it’s shaping the future of livestock nutrition.
