SpiceJet has reported a ₹48 crore net profit for FY25, marking its first annual profit in seven years. The airline’s financial recovery has been fueled by strong passenger demand, cost optimization, and improved yield, signaling a major turnaround for the lowcost carrier.
 
Key Highlights:
  • RecordBreaking Q4: SpiceJet posted its highestever quarterly profit of ₹319 crore, a 12fold increase from ₹26 crore in Q3.
  • Revenue & Growth: Operating revenue surged 17.5% quarteronquarter to ₹1,446 crore, while total revenue for FY25 stood at ₹6,736 crore.
  • Passenger Load Factor: Remained robust at 88.1%, with Revenue per Available Seat Kilometre (RASK) improving to ₹5.66.
  • Equity Infusion: The promoter group completed an equity infusion of ₹500 crore, reinforcing investor confidence.
  • Network Expansion: SpiceJet launched 24 new domestic flights, including routes to Tuticorin, Porbandar, and Dehradun, and introduced special Haj flights.
  • International Expansion: Kathmandu became the first international destination for FY26, signaling global ambitions.
Chairman and MD Ajay Singh credited the airline’s strong performance to team efforts and investor support, positioning SpiceJet for sustained growth in the aviation sector.
