The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) announced that the ongoing strike has concluded, with employees returning to work on March 20, 2025. The Federation of unions instructed their members to resume duties fully from the first shift onwards. Normal operations have resumed across all NMDC projects, including Kirandul, Bacheli, and Donimalai complexes. This development comes after a two-week strike that had reduced daily production by 30-40%. The NMDC management acknowledged the importance of its workforce and expressed that this decision will strengthen relations and trust. The company is now focused on accelerating production to meet its targets for the fiscal year.
