In a significant kick-start for global mobility of health workers, the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), in collaboration with Overseas Manpower Company of Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP) and the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), initiated a free online German language training and placement scheme for registered nurses.
 
Key Highlights:
 
- German language level course A1 to B2
 
- Successful candidates living in Germany as Assistant Nurses, with chances of upgrading to Registered Nurse upon B2 certification
 
- Over 200 direct hospital employment in German hospitals
 
Eligibility & Structure
 
- Candidates should have GNM or higher qualifications, one or two years of experience, and should be 39 years or below
 
- Training duration is 7–8 months with 3-hour daily online sessions (morning or night shifts)
 
- A refundable deposit of Rs 30,000 is required; additional charges for tests, visas, and travel
 
Career Advantages:
 
- Salary for one month ranges between Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh
 
- Three-year employment contracts issued on appointment
