Nursing a Brighter Future: BorderPlus Unveils ₹100 Crore Scholarship Lifeline

To celebrate International Nurses Day, BorderPlus, a mobility platform for staff, has introduced a groundbreaking ₹10 crore scholarship programme for Indian nurses who are looking to have international careers. The programme recognises most important deterrents such as high exam fees, complicated paperwork, and last-mile skill deficiencies that discourage nurses from seeking international opportunities. Recruits will be selected on merit, intent, and fit for long-term global ambitions after an intense screening and interview process.

 

To pursue this mission, BorderPlus established its first regional Training and Support Centre in Kochi, already assisting over 120 candidates and to expand to 500. The centre offers in-person exam preparation, counseling, and documentation support, while online services extend to nurses in Kerala and the nearby states.

 

Co-founders Mayank Kumar and Ayush Mathur noted that empowering Indian nurses across the globe not only benefits their careers but also India's remittance economy.
