Oben Electric has introduced its next-generation Rorr EZ Sigma electric motorcycle to the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), aiming for urban commuters who want excitement, tech, and practical value in one package. As of today’s launch, the Rorr EZ Sigma brings a compelling suite of advancements in hardware, software, range, and user convenience.
Key Highlights: Pricing, Bookings, and Deliveries
Introductory price is Rs 1.27 lakh for the 3.4 kWh variant; the 4.4 kWh model costs Rs 1.37 lakh for a limited period. Prices will later increase to Rs 1.47 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh, respectively.
Bookings are open now for Rs 2,999, with deliveries set to begin on August 15, 2025.
The Rorr EZ Sigma is available in four color options, including a new Electric Red shade, and can be purchased online or at Oben showrooms.
Performance and Range
The bike is offered in two battery variants: 3.4 kWh with a 140 km IDC-certified range and 4.4 kWh with an outstanding 175 km IDC range.
Both models have a powerful 7.5 kW electric motor delivering 52 Nm of torque, enabling a brisk 0–40 km/h acceleration in just 3.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 95 km/h.
Three riding modes—Eco, City, and Havoc—let riders tailor the power delivery to traffic, range needs, or thrill.
Fast-charging support ensures the battery charges from 0 to 80% in just 1.5 hours, minimizing downtime.
Tech, Safety, and Comfort
The bike debuts a 5-inch TFT color display, which offers navigation, a trip meter, and real-time alerts for calls, messages, and music.
Enhanced hardware upgrades include a reverse mode for easy parking, a high 200 mm ground clearance, telescopic fork up front, and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock for comfort on city roads.
Safety features include Unified Brake Assist (UBA), geo-fencing-based theft protection, battery theft lock, patented vandalism protection, and a Driver Alert System (DAS).
Connectivity and Ownership
One-year complimentary subscription to the Oben Electric app unlocks ride analytics, GPS tracking, charging station locator (with access to 68,000 stations), remote lock, and smart alerts.
The Rorr EZ Sigma comes with optional Battery Protect 8/80, offering an 8-year or 80,000 km battery warranty for Rs 9,999, improving long-term peace of mind and resale value.
Market Position and Competition
The new Rorr EZ Sigma is Oben’s answer to urban EV motorcycles like the Revolt RV400 and Hop Oxo but claims a top spot for range, design, and tech at its price point.
Built on the Indian-designed ARX frame, the Sigma is engineered for city conditions, including a notable 230 mm water-wading depth suited for monsoon commutes.
Test rides are available, and Oben promises streamlined deliveries through its integrated in-house manufacturing and distribution model.
