Qatar revealed its official slogan for National Day 2025, “Bekum Ta'lu W' Minkum Tantazer” (“The nation rises with you, waits for you”), inspired by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's 2016 speech. The theme celebrates loyalty, human development, and the active role of citizens in nation-building.
Qatar’s National Day 2025 celebrations will carry the powerful slogan “Bekum Ta'lu W' Minkum Tantazer,” which translates as “The nation rises with you, waits for you.” Drawn from a 2016 speech by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at Qatar University, the phrase embodies Qatar’s vision emphasizing the inseparable bond between its people and the homeland.
The slogan underscores the nation’s belief that sustainable progress is rooted in the dedication and commitment of its citizens. The organizing committee highlights that building the nation is intrinsically connected to building individuals through social responsibility, loyalty, and collective service.
HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture, stated that true citizenship extends beyond rights to continuous responsibility and giving. The slogan serves as a call to all Qataris to contribute selflessly to the country’s ongoing renaissance and prosperity.
National Day, celebrated every December 18, marks Qatar’s founding in 1878 and will include vibrant cultural events, parades, fireworks, and community participation, reinforcing national pride and unity.
