Olectra Greentech Limited, noted as a prominent manufacturer of electric vehicles, announced solid results for the quarter ending on March 31, 2025. For instance, the company's consolidated revenue from operations increased to ₹4.49 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 55%, as a record number of 219 electric vehicles were delivered this quarter. Furthermore, this number represents a 67% increase in vehicles delivered compared with last year. This surge indicates Olectra’s growing market position in electric vehicles.
Net profit in March increased to ₹210 million due to a combination of operational efficiencies and strong demand. EBITDA increased by 36%, and profit before tax increased by 45%, demonstrating improvements in profits from the core business.
To share success with shareholders, the Board of Directors recommended a dividend of ₹4 per share, reflecting a strong belief in continued growth and healthy cash flows. The number of vehicles Olectra has delivered to clients in total is now 2,718 electric vehicles, and the order book still appears strong since there are 10,022 buses in hand.
Management believes these results are happening due to the growing market adoption of electric mobility solutions, and they reiterated their commitment to advancing Olectra's manufacturing and delivery capabilities to meet demand.
