Paras Defence & Space Technologies Ltd will invest ₹12,000 crore to set up India's first-ever Optics Park in Maharashtra. The landmark project was announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos and will further self-reliance in advanced optical technologies for sectors such as defence, space, and automotive. The initiative, supported by the Maharashtra government, will create more than 2,000 jobs and position India as a global leader in optics innovation. The park will be operational starting in 2028 and ending by 2035.
