Chopra, who has set new standards for Indian athletics himself, took to social media to celebrate the team’s success. “I’m so proud to see our athletes shine on the continental stage! Their hard work and determination are inspiring a new generation,” he shared. Competing against 39 nations, the Indian team stood out with a remarkable collection of gold, silver, and bronze medals across various events.

Some standout moments included Jyoti Yarraji’s gold in the women’s 100m hurdles, the victory of the mixed 4x400m relay team, and strong performances from Rupal Chaudhary (silver in the 400m), Pooja (silver in the 1500m), and Parul Chaudhary (silver in both the 5000m and 3000m steeplechase).
