India’s biggest AI film contest, Vision Bharat, invites creators to craft 60-second AI-powered films on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and vision. Open till October 26, the challenge offers national recognition and prizes, showcasing India’s pioneering move toward AI-driven storytelling in the Fifth Industrial Revolution.
India has launched its most ambitious AI-powered filmmaking event yet, the Vision Bharat AI Film Challenge, aimed at revolutionizing digital storytelling by blending creativity with cutting-edge artificial intelligence. The initiative is spearheaded by BlueKraft Digital Foundation and invites content creators aged 18 and above from across the country to produce 60-second AI-generated films focused on the life, leadership, and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This competition coincides with Modi completing 24 continuous years as the head of an elected government.
Participants can craft their films in any Indian language with the inclusion of English subtitles, making the contest accessible across India’s diverse linguistic landscape. The challenge encourages filmmakers to creatively explore key phases of Modi’s journey—from his early leadership in Gujarat to his nationwide impact, and major national programs like Digital India, Make in India, Swachh Bharat, and Start-up India.
The submissions are open until October 26, 2025, with winners set to gain national recognition, prestigious prizes, and the opportunity to showcase their work at a dedicated AI Film Festival. The judging panel features an esteemed group of filmmakers, digital creators, artists, and AI technology experts who will assess entries based on creativity, cultural authenticity, narrative clarity, and technical execution of AI tools.
According to BlueKraft Digital Foundation CEO Akhilesh Mishra, the challenge is not only a tribute to the Prime Minister’s leadership but also a bold step towards integrating AI into India’s creative and filmmaking ecosystem. Emphasizing innovation, the challenge marks a significant milestone in India’s transition into the Fifth Industrial Revolution, where AI technologies such as large language models and generative AI transform content creation.
This platform is expected to attract filmmakers, students, digital content creators, and AI enthusiasts nationwide, offering them a groundbreaking opportunity to blend patriotism with cutting-edge storytelling, setting the stage for future advances in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).
