Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to play a pivotal role in India Maritime Week (IMW) 2025, held at Mumbai’s NESCO Exhibition Centre. At approximately 4:00 PM, he will address the Maritime Leaders Conclave and lead the Global Maritime CEO Forum, the flagship event spotlighting the future of the global maritime ecosystem.
The conclave will feature CEOs, investors, policymakers, and innovators deliberating on port-led development, green shipping, resilient supply chains, and inclusive blue economy strategies. Modi’s participation underscores his commitment to the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, aiming to position India as a preeminent maritime nation.
Organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and the Indian Ports Association from October 27 to 31, IMW 2025 has over 85 countries participating, with 100,000+ delegates and 350+ international speakers. The theme “Uniting Oceans, One Maritime Vision” reflects collaborative efforts to establish India as a global maritime hub.
Post-address, Modi will hold closed-door discussions with CEOs focusing on investment priorities, policy frameworks, and strategic partnerships propelling India’s maritime sector growth.
