India’s women boxers delivered a knockout performance at the World Boxing Cup 2025 in Astana, Kazakhstan, clinching a record 11 medals, including three golds. Leading the charge were Sakshi (54kg), Jaismine Lamboria (57kg), and Nupur (80+kg), who each struck gold with commanding victories in their respective finals. This marks India’s best-ever performance at the event, surpassing their previous tally of six medals in the Brazil leg earlier this year.

Sakshi (54kg): Defeated USA’s Yosline Perez with a unanimous decision, showcasing speed and precision.
 
Jaismine Lamboria (57kg): Outboxed Brazil’s Jucielen Cequeira Romeu 4:1, using her reach and tactical discipline.
 
Nupur (80+kg): Overcame Kazakhstan’s Yeldana Talipova with a dominant 5:0 verdict, bouncing back after a slow start.
