In a candid interview, Ranaut mentioned arriving in Mumbai with only ₹1500 in her pocket and faced a variety of trying challenges, including having to share a small flat with 12 other girls. She reminisced about being rejected in the early days and her journey to push through it all until she got her big break. Ranaut stated how self-belief and hard work were essential to success in the film industry. She said that she was really grateful for the opportunities that she had in showbiz and how it impacted her career. She believes that it is these stories that help inspire beginner actors just starting out, especially about the unpredictability that comes with showbiz.
