Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh’s formation on November 1, 2025, in Nava Raipur, marking 25 years since the state's creation. Inaugurating the Rajat Mahotsav at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Commerce and Trade Complex, PM Modi will set the tone for a festival celebrating the state's rich tribal heritage combined with national artistry. The cultural festival runs from November 1 to 5, featuring renowned artists such as Hansraj Raghuvanshi, Aditya Narayan, Kailash Kher, and Bhoomi Trivedi. The opening day starts with Aishwarya Pandit’s performance at 11 a.m., followed by an evening lineup with soulful bhajans and folk music.
Apart from cultural events, PM Modi will inaugurate the new Rs 324 crore Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly building, and unveil projects worth over ₹14,260 crore spanning roads, healthcare, industry, and energy sectors. The launch includes foundation stones for highways and new Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Programme blocks across districts. The celebrations highlight Chhattisgarh's progress and unity, capped by an Indian Air Force aerial display by the Surya Kiran aerobatic team.
