Rajshree Polypack Fires Up New Food Packaging Line—Adds 900 MTPA Capacity via Toll Partner

Rajshree Polypack Ltd, a leading player in thermoformed and rigid plastic packaging, has commenced commercial production of new food-grade containers, expanding its product portfolio across dairy, QSR, and ready-to-eat segments. The company also announced the successful installation of an additional 900 MTPA capacity at the facility of a toll manufacturing partner, enhancing its asset-light scalability model.

 

This move aligns with Rajshree’s strategy to meet rising demand for sustainable and customized packaging solutions, especially from marquee clients like Nestlé, Hatsun, and Swiggy. The new production line will cater to yoghurt cups, bakery trays, and MAP containers, with a focus on recyclable and biodegradable materials such as PLA and thinner polymer blends.

 

The expansion is expected to boost topline growth in FY26, while optimizing cost structures through outsourced manufacturing. With this, Rajshree strengthens its position in India’s fast-growing rigid food packaging market, projected to grow at a CAGR of 9–10% over the next five years.
