BSE Ltd, India’s premier stock exchange, delivered an impressive performance in the quarter ending September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), reflecting robust growth across revenue streams and profitability. Revenue from operations surged 44% year-on-year to ₹1,068 crore, bolstered by increased transaction charges and a sharp rise in listing fees. This marks the company’s highest-ever quarterly revenue. Consolidated net profit climbed 61% to ₹558 crore compared to ₹347 crore a year ago, driven by operational efficiencies and a strong business mix.
Sequentially, BSE saw a 3.5% increase in net profit and a 12% rise in revenue from the previous quarter, signaling sustained momentum. EBITDA skyrocketed 78% YoY to ₹691 crore, improving margins to 64.7%, up from 52.4% in the same quarter last year. Key growth contributors included the trading segment, mutual fund platform, and corporate services, which collectively propelled earnings.
Despite higher regulatory expenses and ₹10.6 crore contribution to the core settlement guarantee fund during the quarter, the exchange maintained strong profitability and positive investor sentiment, with shares rising over 0.7% post-results.
