Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has launched its iconic beverage brand Campa in the United Arab Emirates, marking its first international foray. This strategic move comes as part of Reliance's plan to expand Campa's global footprint, starting with West Asia. Initial shipments have already reached Bahrain, with plans to enter Oman and Saudi Arabia in phases. RCPL aims to capitalize on the growing anti-American sentiment in the region, which has affected sales of competitors like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo. The company is exploring local bottling partnerships in key markets to facilitate further expansion. This launch aligns with Reliance's broader strategy to revive and globalize Indian heritage brands, as outlined by Isha Ambani during the company's 2023 annual general meeting.
