Remsons Industries Unveils State-of-the-Art Pune Facility, Accelerates Growth Ambitions

Remsons Industries Ltd has inaugurated a sprawling new manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, marking a significant milestone in its journey to become a leading force in the automotive components sector. The modern plant, covering 120,000 square feet, more than doubles the company’s previous capacity and positions Remsons at the heart of India’s automotive manufacturing hub.

Key Highlights:

Strategic Expansion: The Pune facility replaces the older Daman plant, offering room for future expansion and immediate access to a larger talent pool, enhanced logistics, and proximity to Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers. This move is designed to cut procurement lead times and boost delivery efficiency for both domestic and global OEM clients.
Advanced Manufacturing: The plant will manufacture a wide range of automotive cables—light, medium, and heavy-duty—for applications in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses, farm equipment, and more. Products include brake, accelerator, clutch, gear shift, HVAC, seat, and door lock cables, as well as advanced electronics, infotainment systems, and sensors.
Sustainability & Technology: With an investment of around ₹20 crore, the facility incorporates lean manufacturing principles, solar panels for green energy, and modern conveyors for single-piece flow production. These upgrades are expected to improve quality, productivity, and reduce operational costs.
Growth Trajectory: Remsons aims to double its revenue to ₹500 crore in the next two to three years, leveraging the expanded capacity and new product lines. The company recently secured a ₹300 crore order from Stellantis North America and acquired Astro Motors to enter the electric vehicle segment, further fueling its growth momentum.
Brand Reinvention: The inauguration also saw the unveiling of Remsons’ refreshed brand identity, signaling a renewed commitment to innovation and market leadership.

With this new Pune facility, Remsons Industries is poised to scale new heights in the competitive auto components landscape, catering to both Indian and global markets with enhanced efficiency and quality.
