Rushil Decor Limited, a prominent name in decorative laminates manufacturing, has initiated the trial run at its Phase 2 Jumbo Laminates facility located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This new phase is a significant capacity expansion building on Phase 1’s success, set to complete by the third quarter of financial year 2025-26.
Key highlights of this milestone:
Phase 2 expansion will add an annual capacity of 2.8 million jumbo laminate sheets (measured as 1 mm single-side decorative sheets), effectively more than doubling the plant’s overall production.
The facility focuses on producing thicker, jumbo-sized decorative laminates, meeting rising market demand, especially from export markets including the USA, Europe, and other developed regions.
Combined capacity of Phase 1 and 2 is expected to generate incremental annual revenues of approximately Rs 300 crore with an anticipated EBITDA margin around 11%, reflecting strong profitability prospects.
The expansion aligns with Rushil Decor’s strategic plan to reinforce its leadership in the global jumbo laminates market by tapping growing international demand and innovating product offerings.
The company reported robust financials in FY2025 with consolidated revenues of Rs 897.9 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 47.9 crore, underpinning confidence in its capacity upgrades and market expansion.
Rushil Decor serves markets in over 56 countries, operating six state-of-the-art plants with diversified product lines including MDF boards and plywood, supported by a robust distribution network of over 700 distributors and 4,600 points of sale.
The trial run for Phase 2 marks a critical step toward ramping up commercial production, with expectations to fully commission the expanded facility by Q3 FY26.
This phase of expansion not only augments Rushil Decor’s production scale but also enhances export capabilities, positioning the company to capitalize on global decorative laminates demand. The company’s continued investment in capacity expansion, technological upgrades, and market penetration signals a strong growth trajectory.
