Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder for several significant railway projects. The company won a ₹335.4 crore contract from South Western Railway for implementing the Kavach system across 790 route km in Hubballi and Mysuru divisions. RVNL also secured a ₹554.47 crore contract for the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project, involving the construction of nine stations. Additionally, the company bagged a ₹210.78 crore project from South Eastern Railway for upgrading the electric traction system in the Kharagpur-Tatanagar section. These projects collectively strengthen RVNL's position in railway infrastructure development and modernization efforts.
