Google has launched a revolutionary feature called Audio Overviews, turning ordinary search results into rich, podcast-style audio summaries. AI-Powered by Gemini: The technology is a culmination of NotebookLM's voice conversation success and leverages Gemini's state-of-the-art AI-driven conversation capability, ensuring summaries are correct and engaging.

 

User Feedback Loop: Listeners will be able to thumbs up or thumbs down each Audio Overview, which will assist Google in fine-tuning the feature for the future.

 

Now live in Labs: Audio Overviews are now live in US English for desktop and mobile Search Labs opt-in. Roll-out is one part of Google's broader effort to bring AI to all of its search products, including recent AI Overviews roll-outs in Europe.
