Delhi University has released its second seat allotment list for postgraduate admissions, marking a crucial phase for thousands of aspiring students. Here’s what you need to know about the latest developments in the DU PG admission process.

The second postgraduate seat allotment list was published on June 24, 2025, by 5 PM. Candidates can check their allotment status by logging into their dashboards on the official DU admission portal.
 
In this round, 3,012 new seats have been allotted. Among candidates, 1,310 received upgraded seats, 1,032 retained their previous allotments, and 3,847 chose to freeze their seats, confirming their admission and exiting the process.
 
Students who receive a seat in this round must accept their offer by 4:59 PM on Friday, June 27. Departments and colleges will verify and approve documents online by June 28. The last date to pay the admission fee is June 29, 4:59 PM.
 
For those who missed the initial registration, DU has opened a special mid-entry window. This will be available from 5 PM on July 2 until 4:59 PM on July 4, offering another chance for fresh applicants.
 
This year, DU is offering admissions across 82 postgraduate programmes. The registration window saw over 53,000 applications, reflecting high demand and competition.
 
The third seat allotment list is scheduled for release on July 8, with subsequent deadlines for acceptance, verification, and fee payment.
