SML Isuzu Roars Ahead: April Sales Soar 43%-Is This the Start of a New Growth Era?

SML Isuzu Limited has started the new fiscal year on a high note with a commendable performance, recording a 43.2% year-on-year growth in total sales of vehicles for April 2025. The company disposed of 1,512 units in the month, a considerable increase compared to the 1,056 units sold in April 2024. This strong growth was led by skyrocketing demand in the cargo vehicle space and consistent gains in passenger vehicles.

 

Sales of cargo vehicles were a standout with a sensational 77.6% increase to 389 units from 219 units in the corresponding period last year. Passenger vehicle sales also helped support the robust numbers, increasing 34.2% to 1,123 units from 837 units in April 2024. The sales increase underscores the increased traction in the commercial vehicle segment on the back of higher infrastructure development and increased logistics activity in the country.

 

SML Isuzu's robust FY26 start is a testament to its enhanced market position and the success of its product strategy. The company is hopeful of continuing this growth momentum as demand for cargo and passenger vehicles keeps growing.
