Speed Trial Set: Nizamuddin–Indore Vande Bharat to Be Tested via Agra Soon

The Agra Railway Division is gearing up to test a new Vande Bharat Express on the Nizamuddin–Indore route, marking the fifth such service to pass through the historic city. The trial run is expected to take place between New Delhi and Mathura, with a scheduled halt at Agra Cantt.

Key Highlights From the Upcoming Trial

- The train will operate at a *maximum speed of 160 km/h*, with an average cruising speed of 120–130 km/h  
- Agra Cantt will serve as a key stop, with a halt duration of 5 to 7 minutes  
- The route is equipped with the Kavach automatic train protection system, enhancing operational safety  
- This will be the fifth Vande Bharat Express to serve Agra, joining existing services to Bhopal, Udaipur, Khajuraho, and Varanasi
