Stalin’s Camps Promise Swift Relief: 10,000 Outreach Drives Across Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has inaugurated the ambitious scheme of Ungaludan Stalin (Stalin With You) to take 46 government services to people's doorsteps throughout the state. With 10,000 camps to be held in urban and rural areas till November, the scheme guarantees a solution to the people's grievances within 45 days of filing an application.

Key Highlights
- It began on July 15, when camps were set up in Dharmapuri and Chidamparam districts
- 3,768 camps will be opened in cities and 6,232 in rural towns and they will accommodate 13 and 15 departments respectively
- Services include family card issuance, transfer of pattas, application under Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai, and registration under CM's comprehensive health insurance
- Near one lakh trained volunteer staff are conducting door-to-door awareness programs, distributing booklets and counseling citizens in terms of eligibility and documents
- One part of the program consists of medical camps where the entire care
- District collectors will act as coordinators in general with the help of officers in unions, municipalities, and town panchayats
- CM Stalin himself sanctioned the hearing aid, health insurance card, and EB connection name change on the launch day
- The scheme also includes grievance redressal for women who were previously left out of welfare schemes, with reapplication opportunities now being opened up.

Ungaludan Stalin is not just a model for service delivery—it's a reset of governance. Decentralizing access and guaranteeing settlement within two months, the project hopes to restore confidence and effectiveness in public administration.
