Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has clinched a marquee order worth approximately INR 1,381 crore from Adani Green Energy. The deal includes a Balance of System (BOS) package for three massive solar projects at Khavda, Gujarat, as part of a 5-year strategic partnership to drive India’s renewable energy expansion.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a leading global renewable EPC company, announced a significant order from India’s largest renewable energy developer, Adani Green Energy Limited. This order, valued around INR 1,381 crore (excluding taxes), covers the supply of goods and onsite services for three solar power projects within the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, one of the world's largest renewable energy hubs.
This order is SWREL’s first under a newly signed 5-year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Adani Green, aimed at supporting Adani’s future renewable energy rollout plans across India. SWREL is currently managing nearly 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region, with 5 GW targeted for completion this fiscal year, and this latest 1 GW project consolidates its dominant presence in Gujarat’s solar market.
SWREL’s Global CEO, Chandra Kishore Thakur, highlighted that this partnership strengthens their leadership in India’s fast-growing solar market and exemplifies client trust in their engineering and execution excellence. To date, SWREL has secured over INR 6,450 crore in order inflows this fiscal, reflecting a robust project pipeline.
