Capacity Expansion: To address burgeoning demand, Alpex Solar is rapidly scaling up its manufacturing capacity. The Greater Noida unit of the company expanded last month to 1.2 GW, and expansion plans are in motion for a new solar cell manufacturing facility of 1.6 GW in Mathura, which will start production in phases from October 2025. Alpex hopes to increase its overall photovoltaic capacity to 2.4 GW by 2026.
