Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has secured a fresh order worth ₹27.75 crore from South Western Railway, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s rail infrastructure ecosystem. The contract involves Traction Distribution (TRD) maintenance and breakdown activities across multiple high-traffic sections, including BYPL–OML, YNK–BWT, BAW–SPGR, SBC–JTJ, and BID–YNK–DMM.

The scope of work includes routine upkeep, emergency response, and system reliability enhancements for overhead electrification infrastructure. The project is slated for completion within 24 months from the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance (LOA), and is expected to improve operational efficiency and safety across the designated railway corridors.

This order adds to Texmaco’s growing portfolio of rail EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, which span wagon manufacturing, traction systems, and steel structures. The company has been actively diversifying its order book, recently bagging international contracts and expanding its footprint in metro and freight corridors.

The ₹27.75 crore win also reflects the Indian Railways’ continued push toward modernizing and maintaining electrified routes, a key pillar of its decarbonization and capacity-building agenda. Texmaco’s proven track record in executing complex rail projects positions it well to capitalize on this momentum.

With this latest contract, Texmaco continues to ride the rails of growth—one section at a time.
