The scheme will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 17 as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday celebrations.

The Delhi government has earmarked a budget of Rs 149 crore for the old-age pension scheme for the financial year 2025-26, reflecting the government’s commitment to welfare.
