The 89-year-old Dalai Lama has calmed his devotees regarding his health by recounting a private dream that he will live up to 110 years. This remark follows recent health issues after knee surgery in New York. Despite his advanced age and health issues, the spiritual leader is positive and still blesses hundreds of visitors every week at his Himalayan home in Dharamshala. The Dalai Lama's prophecy is not new, as he has expressed similar views previously, citing dreams and favorable omens that portend a long life. His long life is a comfort to his devotees, who are also looking for an explanation of his plans for succession, which he might reveal when he reaches 90 in July.
