Thrills Rebooted: South Coast’s Favourite Park Gears Up for a Grand Comeback

Adventure Wonderland, the iconic south coast theme park near Bournemouth, is set to open its doors in 2025 after it closed in 2023 because of higher operating costs. First opened in 1992 with its famous Alice in Wonderland-themed attractions, the theme park is now being redeveloped in an exciting form into a smaller size adventure-based attraction. The revamped park will have new features like a maze, mini-golf, and go-kart track, along with sensory gardens, outdoor playground areas, and water play areas that are designed to serve both kids and adults.

 

Redevelopment will generate sustainable, modern outdoor space for existing occupants such as Diverse Abilities and Discovery Village that promotes the community-oriented nature of the site further. While a preliminary reopening is still to be proclaimed, officials signaled hopes for an opening later this "yearly adventure 2025." Users can look forward to new, family-oriented surroundings that balance park playfulness while integrating new-age needs.
