Transforming Villages: Choice International Clinches Massive ₹634.7 Million Digitization Deal

Choice International Ltd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Choice Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, has secured significant new contracts totaling approximately ₹634.7 million (₹67 crore) to drive rural and digital transformation initiatives across India.
 
Key Highlights:
 
The largest contract, worth ₹463.4 million, was awarded by the Office of the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Bihar. This project will computerize 3,576 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), expanding upon Choice’s ongoing digitization of over 9,000 PACS nationwide, including 4,000 in Bihar alone.
 
In Karnataka, Choice Consultancy Services has been entrusted with a ₹102.3 million contract to digitize 878 PACS. The scope covers data digitization, migration, handholding, and support services, aiming to empower rural banking infrastructure and improve grassroots financial inclusion.
 
The company has also been appointed as the Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) for the Amended BharatNet Program in West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, and the North Eastern region. This three-year assignment, valued at ₹102.6 million, involves monitoring, evaluation, vendor coordination, and progress reporting to enhance broadband infrastructure in remote and underserved areas.
 
These projects are closely aligned with the Government of India’s vision for modernizing rural institutions, expanding digital access, and fostering inclusive economic growth.
 
The PACS computerization projects are expected to be completed over the next 24 to 30 months, with the digital transformation set to benefit thousands of farmers and rural communities by improving access to financial services and connectivity.
