Eco World Foundation has donated a modern mini library, known as the “Knowledge Capsule,” to SJK(T) Bestari Jaya school in Selangor. Valued at RM42,000, it features a reading area and interactive facilities aimed at fostering creativity and a love for learning among 427 students, reinforcing Eco World’s commitment to education.
Eco World Foundation recently gifted a state-of-the-art mini library, called the Knowledge Capsule, to Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJK(T)) Bestari Jaya in Selangor. This donation is part of Eco World’s ongoing initiative to enhance educational facilities and promote reading habits among schoolchildren.
The Knowledge Capsule, constructed within three weeks and worth RM42,000, serves as a multifunctional learning hub. It features an open-concept design, air-conditioning, floor seating, and well-curated resources to encourage reading, storytelling, and interactive learning activities. The mini library also includes a dedicated reading area and ten new computers donated to the school.
Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, Chairman of Eco World Foundation, officiated the handover ceremony. He emphasized the foundation’s mission to enable a nurturing and inspiring environment for children, highlighting the importance of collaborative learning spaces that ignite curiosity and creativity.
“We are not just providing books, but creating a space where young minds can explore, interact, and grow,” said Tan Sri Lee during his address. The foundation’s efforts are aligned with their Student Assistance Programme (SAP), which supports thousands of underprivileged primary and secondary students across Malaysia.
School Headmistress D. Pennarasi expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Eco World for the generous gift, sharing how the mini library will uplift the learning experience of her students.
