TVS Motor Company Accelerates to 16% Sales Growth in April 2025, Electric Segment Shines

TVS Motor Company has reported a strong start to the new financial year, registering a 16% year-on-year growth in overall sales for April 2025. The company sold 4,43,896 units during the month, up from 3,83,615 units in April 2024. Two-wheeler sales contributed significantly, rising 15% to 4,30,330 units compared to 3,74,592 units a year ago.
 
Domestic two-wheeler sales saw a steady 7% increase, reaching 3,23,647 units, while exports surged 45% to 1,16,880 units, reflecting robust demand in international markets. The electric vehicle (EV) segment was a standout performer, with EV shipments soaring nearly 60% from 17,403 units in April 2024 to 27,684 units in April 2025. TVS also led the electric two-wheeler market for the first time, with its iQube model delivering an impressive 154% year-on-year growth.
 
This stellar performance underscores TVS Motor’s growing market presence, especially in the rapidly expanding EV segment, and highlights its successful product strategy both domestically and abroad. The company’s strong momentum in April sets a positive tone for the rest of FY26.
