Marriott International is seeing growth go through the roof in South Asia, led by India's top metropolitan regions. The giant hospitality company registered a 25% year-to-year rise in room signings in 2024, with Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru being responsible for more than 60% of new hotels. Growth follows India's thriving business travel and tourism industry. Marriott's broad portfolio of brands, such as luxury brands Ritz-Carlton and W Hotels, is riding the wave of increasing demand for upscale lodging in city centers. The aggressive expansion plan of the company in India will consolidate its leadership position in the region's fast-changing hospitality market.
