WAVES Bazaar 2025: A Business Bonanza with Rs 250 Crore in Deals – Surfing Success!

WAVES Bazaar 2025, the top-of-the-line market of the WAVES Summit in Mumbai, has become a power to be counted upon for worldwide business in the media and entertainment sector within its first two days, clocking over ₹250 crore in locked B2B deals. The inaugural edition hosted 95 overseas buyers and 224 sellers across 22 countries-including majors like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Meta, Disney Star, and Warner Bros. Discovery-tapping into India's largest-ever B2B buyer-seller marketplace.

 

Highlights included specially curated screenings of 115 films, live pitches by 16 emerging creators, and milestone deals such as Indo-European animation co-productions and post-production collaborations with the Asian Cinema Fund. With total deal value set to surpass ₹400 crore by the end of the summit, WAVES Bazaar has made India a global creative commerce and cross-border industry partnership hub.
