Kolkata-based quick-service restaurant chain Wow! Momo is raising INR 130-150 crore in a bridge funding round led by Haldiram’s promoter Kamal Agrawal and Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional. The funding is structured through convertible notes, with the company’s valuation to be finalized during its next fundraising round.
This investment comes as Wow! Momo prepares to raise $75-80 million in its next funding round, expected to close by the third quarter of FY26. The company plans to use the funds to expand its restaurant network and fast-moving consumer goods portfolio, aiming to add 200-250 outlets over the next 12-14 months.
Wow! Momo currently operates 680 outlets under four brands—Wow! Momo, Wow! China, Wow! Chicken, and Wow! Kulfi. The company reported revenue of INR 630-640 crore for FY25, reflecting a 30% year-on-year growth.
