Indian wrestler Sujeet has revived his Olympic dreams with a remarkable outing at the World Olympic Qualifier in Istanbul. The 2022 world U20 bronze medallist wiped out his encounters, defeating Tokyo Olympian Korea's Junsik Yun 10-0 and Uzbekistan's Umidjon Jalolov 3-2 in the 65kg category. Sujeet's performance has placed him in contention for a Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier, with him advancing to face Lachlan McNeil of Canada in the second round. His victory is a welcome boost to the Indian wrestling team, which had not been able to secure Olympic quotas in freestyle events prior to this.
