NHPC Limited has signed an Implementation Agreement with Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation Limited (JKSPDCL) to develop two major hydroelectric projects—240 MW Uri-I Stage-II and 260 MW Dulhasti Stage-II—on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis for 40 years.

Project Overview
The Uri-I Stage-II (240 MW) and Dulhasti Stage-II (260 MW) projects will be developed under the BOOT model, ensuring long-term infrastructure investment and sustainable energy supply. Together, they represent 500 MW of new hydropower capacity, reinforcing NHPC’s role in India’s green energy transition.
