No Captains' Photoshoot: Pakistan's Champions Trophy Plans Hit a Snag Amid Security Concerns

With the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 approaching, a significant change has emerged: there will be no captains' photoshoot in Pakistan prior to the tournament. This decision comes amid ongoing security concerns and political tensions between India and Pakistan. Instead, the event will be held in Dubai, where India will play all its matches. The Pakistan Cricket Board had hoped for a traditional photo-op with all participating captains, including India's Rohit Sharma, but logistical challenges have led to this cancellation. The tournament is set to commence on February 19, 2025.
