The app promises end-to-end support across discovery, booking and post-booking, including dynamic alerts on delays, boarding gates, baggage belts, weather and airport services.

Instead of juggling multiple tabs and emails, travellers can now chat with TARA, use Trip Mode for on-the-go assistance and even access ixigo’s capabilities inside ChatGPT via native apps and plugins.

The redesigned ixigo app positions TARA as a multimodal travel assistant that can suggest itineraries, compare transport options and help book flights, trains, buses and hotels using natural language prompts. The system surfaces real-time fares, nearby cheaper dates and contextual recommendations, aiming to make travel planning faster, more intuitive and less fragmented across platforms.
