Phosphate Pipeline to Prosperity: India's FACT Eyes Togo Deal to Fertilize Future Growth

India's oldest fertilizer firm, the Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), is said to be in negotiations for a three-year deal to import rock phosphate from Togo. This is part of India's overall strategy to maintain a consistent supply of key crop nutrients through global alliances. The transaction will improve FACT's production capacity and help India's agriculture industry by ensuring key raw materials at favorable prices. FACT's move is a manifestation of the government's drive for partnership with resource-endowed countries to enhance fertilizer security and affordability for farmers.
